![]() Manage to have the same pally left 1k mana at end of combat.ģrd time, double fire mage, and we both measured out distance from Rokmar after battle starts. Didn't realise bout the range till i found the frostbolt didn't hit me. Started shooting fireball at just nice 41 yards (i have flame throwing talent :P), and those ranged frostbolt attack didn't got me. Pally outta mana.Ģnd time, 8k druid tanker accidentally aggroed Rokmar while i afk. well, the first time we try to heal as much on the tanker as possible with a holy Pally (7k mana cap) and we all screwed. I'm hoping to try and get these for more bonus healing:īand of Renewal: (It dropped once but a mage decided to Ninja >_<)Ĭomment by AllakhazamFought Rokmar trice. This guy really pushes healers as he's a big step up from anything BF/Ramparts throw at you. All I can reccomend for this fight is a really strong DPS, try and save you're mana for his rage or you'll be in trouble. We couldnt get him down fast enough, on the 3rd try we got him to 3% before the Tank wiped then he 1 hitted the mage, the Hunter used FD and the other Paladin couldnt keep there mana up and ended up dead. I put on all my healing gear and managed the outheal the bleed easily. Simple fight.Ĭomment by ThottbotWe tried this the other night with the following: Keep the tank healthy and wear the boss down. ![]() ![]() Tank should continue to hold aggro and call out anytime he gets debuffed. The only way to get rid of this debuff is to restore the tank to 100% health i.e., overheal the heck out of him. This damage does not seem to be mitigated. Grievous Wounds is the reason people fail this fight. The reason for this is a debuff called Grevious Wounds, which the boss sticks on the tank this debuff is a bleed effect that cannot be removed which ticks for upwards of 600 every two seconds, in addition to any other DPS the boss puts out. If a class can heal, they should, even if this leaves only one or two for DPS. Tank gathers aggro, and all healers focus on the tank. This neutralizes his cone-AOE poison/nature bolt. This forces the boss to turn around and face down the hallway and away from the party. Send in the tank 1st and have him run under the boss, right between his legs and out the other side. This will give you room in the corridor to safely complete the fight. Wait for the boss to path to the far end of the hallway and kill the lobster group and the naga group closest to the boss. Your milage may vary, but the strategy is the same for all classes. Others (including me) disagree, because it takes too much mana to restore them to full health during the fight. Some claim this is easier for druids to tank because their hit pools are ridiculous and give a bigger buffer. I've tanked this several times now as a Feral Druid, though the strat is the same for any tank. Comment by ThottbotThis is an endurance fight. ![]()
